Build early spelling confidence with Spelling Practice Level 1, a fun and flexible Schoolio unit designed to help young learners master high-frequency words. Each weekly word list is selected from the Fry Frequency List, focusing on the most commonly used words in early reading and writing.

This unit includes 4 weeks of engaging spelling activities and hands-on practice that support different learning styles. Whether your child learns best by tracing, writing, saying, or sorting, this unit has a variety of ways to build spelling mastery—without the pressure.

Students will:

• Learn and practice 5 high-frequency words each week
• Engage with activities like rainbow writing, ABC order, spelling stairs, fill-in-the-blanks, and word shapes
• Strengthen recall through creative dictation tests using silly, sentence-based prompts
• Gain confidence with short, achievable lists designed for mastery over memorization

This unit includes built-in flexibility for families—adapt or swap out activities to match your child’s needs and pace.

Recommended for ages 5–7 | Covers 4 weeks of spelling instruction
