Annual: The annual subscription to the Schoolio Digital Platform costs $199.99 for the year and gives you access to all the same features of the monthly subscription, but costs less over the school year. By subscribing to an annual plan, you’re saving almost 20% of the cost. Enterprise: If you are a school or group of 10 or more students, please reach out to us for enterprise pricing information.
We do offer a multi-child discount of 50% off per additional student. At this time this offer is not automated, so please reach customer service to activate this offer. If you have more than 10 students, please inquire about Enterprise Pricing.

There are three different educator options that you can register with. They are: Parent: If you are the parent or legal guardian of the child, then you would sign up as a parent. This includes if you are a homeschooling parent. Teacher: If you are a teacher signing up for your class, you will register as a teacher. Tutor: If you are tutoring a child or more than one child and wish to have additional resources, you can register as a tutor on the Schoolio Digital Platform.
You will be notified via email or as a notification in the platform anytime there are new updates coming. We strive to have new releases disrupt current users as little as possible, and will provide as much notice and detail in advance as we are able to.
Some lessons do not have videos. This is usually because they are the second day of a two-part lesson. The student may have done Part 1 with the lesson and the first piece of practice work, and they are now on Part 2 which doesn’t include a lesson but has the second piece of practice work. Some lessons are used as “place holders” for times when your student should spend a work period involved in an on-going project, reading, or researching, based on previously given instructions.
The Schoolio platform is best experienced by educators and learners on a Windows 10, Windows 11 or Mac (2017 or later) computer using the latest Google Chrome Browser. Learners can also use a tablet if it’s running Android v10 or higher, or IOS v13 or higher. However PDF annotation features may not be available. We do have plans to support phones and Chrome OS devices in the near future. * Android GO and Chrome OS Flex are not supported.
Absolutely! Your subscription gives you access to ALL the courses in all grade levels in the Schoolio library. This lets you mix-and-match to best suit your student’s needs academically.
Yes and no. Interactive quizzes are now live in the Schoolio Digital platform, allowing students to test their comprehension after lessons, and for their scores to be recorded and displayed in your parent dashboard. However, any well-rounded and robust educational program will include a variety of knowledge-demonstration that is not able to be auto-graded. These include written answers without a singular correct response (ie. opinion answers) and long-form written work (like essays) and other various projects and activities. All the units in the Marketplace include an Answer Key that allows you to confidently grade your student’s work that cannot be graded automatically by the platform.
The pdf downloads are to go along with your video lessons. These include the lessons themselves in written format, which you can print off if you want to take a lesson on-the-go. The others are “worksheets” and are pen-to-paper activities and assignments to enhance the learning experience. These downloads will also include project details, art, experiments, and any hands-on or outdoor learning activities that are not able to be included as a digital experience.
You will have access to 5 pdf downloads per day (seven days a week) or 35 pdf downloads per week. This will give you more than enough pdf downloads for each subject daily.
Yes, you can plan your student’s lessons using the scheduling tools. Schedule each day, or plan weeks and even months in advance. It’s totally up to you. You can also schedule a repeated cycle for your lessons, for example, if you want Math to be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- the planning tool can assign a complete course accordingly.
You do not have to follow any specific schedule. The platform is designed with choice and flexibility at the forefront. You design the schedule for what works for you. If you are unsure of how often and how much of a subject to schedule, you can find sample and recommended schedules in the Schoolio Blog or under the Free Resources tab at schoolio.com
Yes, there is a progress bar for each subject. This progress bar will show how many lessons your student has completed in the course. You can see this information and more in your Dashboard. If you are looking for an end-of-year progress report, you can find templates under the Free Resources tab at schoolio.com as well as year-end certificates for your student!
Schoolio is an international curriculum, ready to be used in any country, state, or province. We offer both imperial and metric versions to align with your needs. When comparing learning outcomes from various government organizations, including Common Core, NGSS, TEKS, and various unique state or provincial standards, they actually differ very little, especially in the progression and delivery of subjects that build year-after-year, such as Mathematics and Language Arts. As such, our curriculum aligns well with most standardized learning outcomes. We know that for many educators, tutors, and even some homeschoolers, meeting standardized learning goals guides much of your decision-making. Therefore, we have done our best to align units with each province’s and state’s guidelines. If this is your objective, we recommend familiarizing yourself with your state or province’s guidelines and tweaking your Schoolio units as needed to better align with your requirements. Rest assured that following provincial or state guidelines is not essential to a full education! Your student will be getting a complete, quality learning experience with well-rounded, customized materials, regardless of which Schoolio units you choose to use. Please note that while we strive to align as best we can, we do not perfectly match all provincial and/or state learning outcomes. Can I plan my student’s lessons ahead of time?
Schoolio is a secular curriculum. A secular curriculum is a course of instruction that is not written from any religious worldview. No matter the delivery method, Schoolio’s curriculum will always be free of faith-based language and undertones.
Schoolio courses are available in both Imperial and Metric! When in the Marketplace, you can select your country as US or Canadian. All US Editions of courses are in Imperial while all Canadian Editions of courses are in Metric.
What people often refer to as “new math”, or sometimes confuse with Common Core standards, is actually called Conceptual Math. Conceptual Math differs from the way many of us adults were taught, which is Procedural Math (sometimes called Rote Math or Rote Learning). Procedural Math involves understanding, usually through rote memorization, the series of steps needed to solve an equation. Conceptual Math involves understanding the relationship between numbers and using that knowledge to solve problems. Conceptual Math aims to explain to the learner why the operations work as they do, rather than asking them to just remember the steps without understanding why each step is taken to reach the solution. Good mathematical literacy involves both an understanding of why algorithms work, as well as knowing the procedures needed to reach the solution. Schoolio Math strives to empower students with a conceptual understanding in the early years, and to teach both the conceptual and procedural method of reaching mathematical solutions, and then encouraging the child to decide which method makes the most sense to them, in order to make math as clear as possible to the learner, rather than trying to force them into the box of one method or the other.
At this time, we do not offer high school level curricula. Our current focus is on the earliest years of a learner’s journey, but we do intend to expand into the area of high school education in time.
