This Social Studies curriculum focuses on the Canadian province of Alberta. Student learners discover the province’s location, demographics, and industrial role within the larger country of Canada and work on basic mapping skills. They learn about the geographic features of the province, as well as the lifestyle, land use, resources, and working life of Albertans.
