Master sentence structure and refine writing style with Grammar Foundations Level 3, a four-week Schoolio unit focused on conjunctions, noun phrases, and active versus passive voice. This unit helps students strengthen clarity, tone, and control in both academic and creative writing.

Students will:

• Identify and apply coordinating, subordinating, correlative, and conjunctive adverbs

• Explore and use noun phrases in multiple grammatical functions (subject, object, complement, appositive)

• Understand and distinguish active and passive voice, including how and when to use each

• Transform passive voice into active voice to create stronger, more concise sentences

• Use alternate passive forms such as “get/have something done” and “need + gerund”

• Edit writing for tone, verb clarity, and sentence variety

Each lesson provides instructional content, practical examples, structured practice, and creative application through rewriting and sentence construction activities.
