Students will:

• Review and apply subject-verb agreement, including tricky structures like compound subjects, collective nouns, and proximity rules

• Practice identifying and using the past perfect tense to describe events in sequence

• Learn the difference between active and passive voice, with guided practice converting between them

• Explore verbals, including participles, gerunds, and infinitives, and how they function in sentences

• Apply grammar concepts to editing tasks, sentence rewrites, and creative writing prompts
