Grammar Foundations Level 1 – Schoolio Grade 6 Language
Build strong language fundamentals with Grammar Foundations Level 1, a Schoolio unit designed to review and expand students’ understanding of core grammar skills. Over four structured weeks, students will focus on the parts of speech and sentence mechanics that support strong, clear writing.
Students will:
- Identify and use common, proper, compound, concrete, and abstract nouns
- Understand and apply adjectives and possessive adjectives
- Distinguish between transitive and intransitive verbs
- Recognize and use helping verbs and modal auxiliaries
- Describe verbs with adverbs and explore different types of adverbs (manner, time, frequency, degree, and opinion)
- Strengthen editing skills through structured grammar activities and writing tasks
Each lesson includes examples, practice activities, and opportunities to apply new skills to real-world writing.
