Refine your advanced grammar skills with Grammar Foundations Level 5, a four-week Schoolio unit focusing on indirect speech, indirect questions and commands, and conditional clauses. Students will develop control over sentence structure, tone, and expression in both narrative and academic writing.

Students will:

• Convert between direct and indirect speech, mastering tense shifts and reporting clauses
• Rewrite direct questions and commands into indirect forms for tone and clarity
• Use conditional clauses with appropriate verb tenses, including zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditionals
• Practice modal verbs in conditional contexts (e.g., can, might, must, should, would)
• Learn to omit “if” in formal conditionals using alternate structures (e.g., “Were I…”, “Had I…”)
• Build fluency and sophistication in expressing hypothetical and polite statements

Each week provides structured grammar instruction, real-world examples, and practice activities designed to prepare students for high-level communication and writing.
