Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our company, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks Online and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments and following up on overdue accounts
  • Prepare and process payroll, including calculating employee hours, taxes, and benefits
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Assist with budget preparation and tracking
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

This is a part-time position with an expected work schedule of approximately 20 hours per week. The exact schedule may be flexible and can be discussed during the interview process.
