Adding to the Planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform

This blog will cover a basic concept about using the Schoolio digital platform; adding to the planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform is much easier than you’d think, so let’s dive in!

Adding to the Planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform.

Now that you have successfully added a student to your portal and added courses to your students portal, you can take your next step: adding to the planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform. There are several options for adding to the planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform. Here is the most basic form.

Step 1: Select Your Student.

If you have multiple children registered on your account, you will need to choose the student for which you are adding to the planner on the Schoolio Digital Platform. Click on the orange right-facing arrow of the student that you’d like to customize the planner for. 

Step 2: Select the planner button.

Once you have made it to your child’s portal, you can select the ‘planner’ button on the right side of the screen. This will take you to the customizable planner for your child’s program.

Step 3: Schedule the Lesson.

Once you have made it to the schedule page, you can select the green button on the upper-right side of the screen. Click on the green ‘Schedule Lesson’ button.

Step 4: Select the Course.

The next step in scheduling your child’s lesson is to select the course on the pop-up menu that will appear once you have clicked the schedule lesson button. When you click on the arrows on the right side of the ‘Choose Your Course’ menu, you will see a variety of courses that you have registered your child for.

Step 5: Select which unit you’d like to schedule.

Once you have selected the course you’d like to schedule; you need to click on the ‘unit’ arrows. A drop-down menu will appear with the units available in the selected course. Select the unit you want your child or student to work in.

Step 6: Select the lesson you’d like the schedule.

When you have finished selecting the course and unit, you will be able to select the lesson from the course/unit that you have chosen. Click on the arrows on the ‘lesson’ drop-down menu and select the lesson you’d like to schedule.

Step 7: Select a time that works for you.

Now that you have selected your course, unit and lesson, you can use the pop-up calendar to choose a time and date that works for you and your student to do this lesson. Once you have selected a time that works, you can click the orange ‘submit’ button, and the lesson will be added to your student’s schedule. 

Step 8: Get started!

Now that you have added a lesson to the planner, you are ready to start learning! Enjoy and have fun!
